It's been snowing heavy in North and Central Europe the last couple of weeks. Everything turned white, a whole different sight when you look out your window. It gave me the idea to collect some winter inspired artwork made during the Holidays. I'm quite surprised with the results designers and artists all over the world came up with. Lets hope the sun will warm us up soon again. For now just let us enjoy making snowdolls and doing snow fights and the wonderful artwork inspired by it.
We start off with immediately an amazing digital painting by Dmitry Glazyrin, a Russian artists with mad painting skills. Go have a look on ujean-glazyrin.com.
Bai Ram is again a digital painting, this time by a girl known as Purplekecleon.
Elena Dudina is a Spanish artist inspired by winter to make the following photo manipulation, called "Invierno". Even in Spain the snow seem to reach the graphic art scene.
The next artwork by Runolfur Gudbjornsson is part of a the Threespinning Jewelry campaign 09.

"Snowflake", the next digital painting took Nuria - also from Spain - 3 days to create. The result was more than worth it. Thanks Nuria!
